How Pips works

| Rule | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Number | The pips in the region add up to exactly that number. |
| = | Every square in the region shows the same number of pips. |
| ≠ | Every square in the region shows a different number. |
| <n / >n | The region’s total is less than / more than n. |
| No symbol | Anything goes. |

Every day, for all three difficulties. If today’s board isn’t here yet, use the Pips solver — draw the board and it finds the answer for you.
Why does my answer look different from yours?

Are these the official answers?
No — HintNook is independent. We solve each board ourselves and check every answer with our solver.
